Bohemian Chic

Is anyone else super excited for Fall fashion?! I can feel it in the brisk morning air and I'm ready to snuggle into sweaters and boots. Leaves are beginning to change here and I want to spend the day swirling around listening to Fleetwood Mac on my record player. Is it possible to request Stevie Nicks as my spirit animal?

Here are shots from a photo session I took a while back. I love a good maxi dress. They are really easy to dress up or down. One of my favorite looks is bohemian chic. I never realized how much of a California girl I was until I lived on the East Coast. Apparently, my eclectic collection of big earnings and stacked jewelry gave me away.

Staples in my outfit I absolutely adore are my big gold cuff like bracelet. It goes with any outfit and immediately dresses it up. The same is true with bangles. I get teased around town by friends for over dressing. It's the LA in me I guess. In little ol' Grass Valley, it's rare that one will see people dressed in business casual or heels. When it came to clothing Los Angeles, could be glamorous and splashy where as Pittsburgh felt a lot more conservative and straight laced, especially in the business district of downtown where I worked.

Even the artists I hung out with looked sharp. At my day job, I worked in Real Estate, and everyone always dressed nicely. It was standard. However, I was starting my first businesses on the side which involved pitching, going to openings or meeting with artists after work. I always needed outfits that I could wear from day to night with sprinkling of meetings in between. I grew to really enjoy that fashion space and hope most of my looks reflect that.
