When I curate a wall of artwork, I have to consider how each different piece influences the others. Has the work been spaced correctly? How does each piece affect its surrounding environment?

These same principles apply when we curate our lives. Our decisions are like pieces of art on a wall. Every choice has an impact on our happiness.

In June 2014, I knew I needed to make a change. I had spent the last two years spending hours each day commuting to and from a corporate cubicle. I was utterly miserable. That year I escaped my cubicle in pursuit of working for myself.

I wanted to be the curator of my own life, my own business, and my own environment. Through this desire, my blog, Lu Curates was born, along with the boutique marketing firm, Lu Curates Media.
